Viewing Angle and Field of View
Each grandstand seat must be positioned at an angle that allows for an unobstructed view of the pitch. Each row should be positioned 30 or 40 cm above the previous row. C-values (line of sight calculations) must be taken into account. Seats should be designed to be equidistant from all areas to the right.
Selection of Seats
Seats used in the grandstands must be durable, aesthetically pleasing, and comfortable. When selecting grandstand seats, high-strength plastic materials should be preferred. Designs with drainage holes should be preferred for rain or snow. Bolted or lockable grandstand seats should be preferred to prevent removal. They should also be fire-resistant to ensure safe use in an emergency.
Selection of Load-Bearing System and Materials
Engineering calculations should be taken into account when selecting the load-bearing system. Galvanized steel structures, concrete floors, or steel legs, and corrosion-resistant paint systems should be preferred.
Entrance and Exit Planning
Entrance and exit directions from the grandstands should be designed to be at least bidirectional. Stands must also be designed to be accessible to people with disabilities.
